An Unforgettable Experience at Moon Palace Cancun
Simran and Shawn's wedding was a breathtaking celebration from January 31st to February 3rd, 2024, at the stunning Moon Palace Cancun. With 350 guests in attendance, the event was masterfully planned by Ola Weddings and beautifully captured by photographer Bruno Rezza. Simran and Shawn were absolutely thrilled with the video, just as much as we were!

Sunset Party on Venado Terrace
The festivities began on Wednesday, January 31st, with a mesmerizing sunset party on Venado Terrace. The evening featured DJ music, signature drinks, an open bar, and family and friend portraits. After Simran and Shawn’s welcome speech, guests enjoyed Patravali appetizers and a delicious dinner. The dance floor opened with the vibrant beats of a Dhol player for two hours, followed by a Moon Palace dessert station.
Sangeet and Mehndi at Moonlight Terrace
Thursday's Sangeet and Mehndi ceremonies at Moonlight Terrace were filled with joy. Guests were greeted with signature drinks and bangle cart favors. MC announced captivating performances from both Simran's and Shawn's sides. Dinner was served, and the night ended with a spectacular fireworks display and an after-party at Noir Club.
Haldi Brunch at Lake Terrace
Friday morning featured a lively Haldi Brunch at Lake Terrace with DJ music and an open bar. Food stations offered a variety of delicious options, and guests participated in the Haldi ceremony. Simran's Choora ceremony took place at the Tucan Gazebo.
Wedding Day Celebrations
Saturday began with Simran and Shawn picked up separately by golf cart for their first look. The Bharaat procession led into the wedding ceremony at Quinta Real Yaxché, followed by a post-wedding lunch.
The evening continued with a cocktail hour at the Galactic Foyer, featuring live piano and sax music. Guests enjoyed Patravali appetizers before the grand reception at the Galactic Ballroom. Simran and Shawn's first dance was accompanied by sparkulars and fairy dust rain. The groom-mother dance and bride-father dance followed, with speeches opening the dance floor at 10:00 PM. Dinner was served, featuring Patravali and hotel food, and the night concluded with an after-party at Noir.
