From Santo Domingo to Villa Bokeh

Alexa and Nicolas' wedding in Guatemala was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and tradition, masterfully planned by Ucro Salazar. The day started with intimate getting-ready moments and first looks with the father, bridesmaids, and the groom. The ceremony took place in the historic Santo Domingo church ruins, where stunning photos were captured at the altar, and guests showered the couple with petals as they made their joyful exit.

Blooming Love: Flowers from Nicolas' Family Garden

Following the ceremony, the festivities continued at Villa Bokeh, a picturesque venue with views of the Agua Volcano. Although the wedding day was cloudy and rainy, the charm of the location was undeniable. The bride and groom's triumphant entrance into the salon was a highlight, with guests finding their seats amidst a setting adorned with white flowers from Nicolas' family business. These blooms, which lined the entrance path, were a special touch from the family’s own garden.

Celebration of a Lifetime

The symbolic cake cutting, toasts, and the first dance were moments filled with emotion and joy. The party then erupted into a lively celebration with dancing, colorful alebrijes, surprise fireworks, and delicious tacos. The presence of Alexa and Nicolas' beloved dog added an extra touch of warmth to the event.

The following day, the celebrations continued with a post-wedding brunch in the ruins, offering a glimpse into the rich history and stunning architecture.

Captured beautifully by photographer Andrea Camarena, who used film photography to create timeless memories, the wedding was a testament to love and heritage. Guests from the United States and Central America, including former clients Isa and Armando, gathered to witness this unforgettable day.
